Andrew Burgoyne
My name is Andrew Burgoyne, I am a fourth year student at Strathclyde University studying English. I like to read and to write - have done since i was a little kid. I also love football, anything to do with it. In the future I would, ideally, like to merge these interests and become a football writer or something similar.
This semester I have been studying digital humanities, working on a group project which intends to analyse Morley Callaghan's 'That Summer in Paris.'
In this project, I have been responsible for four characters in the People section - Ernest Hemingway, Harry Hindmarsh, Harry Johnston, and Jimmy the bartender. For my Keywords, I opted for 'sore' and 'Paris'; two words I felt were noteworthy in Callaghan's text. Finally, in the Places section, I have chosen to look at the American Club and the Falstaff Bar.
